Fernando is a Managing Director of Capital insight where he is responsible for the origination and relationship management of various investment banking opportunities. Joining Capital Insight late 2022, Fernando’s brings an eclectic entrepreneurial spirit with a 30+ year career and a refreshing perspective to Capital Insight’s clients having developed de novo businesses, activated product launches, operated turnarounds, and manufacturing growth from dormancy.

Prior to joining CI, Fernando was the CEO of NanoVapor Technologies a zero emissions nano technology innovations company focused on hydrocarbon suppression primarily within the maritime and energy industries. At NanoVapor Fernando was instrumental in the development of a biotech affiliate creating a commercially viable anti-microbial nano technology to serve a diverse population of industries, which product remains commercially viable. Prior to NanoVapor Fernando served as an Executive Director at Investment Banking firm Seabury Capital as the Head of Environmental, Industrial and Marine Services with a focus on mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance within the maritime industry. Fernando has held leadership roles including as President of London Offshore Consultants, residing as a co-founder of maritime software company Seaproc and Maren Group LLC, and an extensive consulting career.

Fernando is a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires with an MSc in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture.
