The bankers of CI acted as a financial advisor to Circle K Stores Inc. (“Circle K”), in the acquisition of certain assets of Sterling Stores, Inc. Circle K is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard which is presently the second largest convenience store operator in North America with approximately 6,000 stores. The acquisition consisted of 28 stores located in the Midwest United States. Services included asset valuation, negotiation and execution of definitive documentation and closing.
